Foraged Fictions

Bespoke collections of stories inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the South West.

From an enchanting evening of tales set in the iconic candlelit Tin Church at Brokerswood in Wiltshire, to a promenade collection of stories in the beautiful surroundings of the National Trust’s Prior Park in Bath, Foraged Fictions imagines the untold stories lost to history: the friendships dropped into the cracks in the paths; the ghosts whispering on the breeze in the leaves; all the possible futures the area may hold.

Foraged Fictions was inspired by some of the beautiful landscapes, landmarks and outdoor spaces of the south west and performed to intimate audiences.

Forage Fictions was created by Kilter and our long-term collaborators, creative writing company A Word in Your Ear.

A Word in Your Ear is all about all about stories: stories on stage, stories hidden in the woods, stories made into plays, stories recorded so you can listen to them wherever you happen to be. Find out more on their website.

“This is a production of an originality that expands the boundaries of what is considered theatre… a unique experience that echoes in the memory for long afterwards.”
